This is a dai pai dang in Sham Shui Po. It is not possible to dine in summer, it is too hot. But in winter, it is ok and definitely acceptable. We know this dai pai dang for a long time, but because of the former reason, we have no chance to have a try.
It is a typical dai pai dang in Hong Kong, in terms of setting, decoration, food and service. What we want is to experience a meal in a typical dai pai dang. We order noodle and rice vermicelli, with red sausage and pork chop respectively. I am sorry to say that it deserves to have so many diners for the whole day, all are cooked with high quality. This means both noodle and rice vermicelli are delicious and flavorful. The egg sandwich is not bad too, the egg juice is still molten. I guess some diners should have dined here for more than twenty years.
It is worthwhile to have a try in So Kee, particularly if it is in winter. Of course, you have to accept the hygiene factor of a typical dai pai dang in Hong Kong.
