It
is attracted by its ad in magazine. The lunchtime is from 12:30 to
16:30. Since we have enough time, we have spent the whole afternoon for
lunch and tea (yes, lunch and tea). We do not expect too much on the food quality at a price of $78 per head.
Out
of our expectation, there are sashimi salmon & tuna, and (more than
8 kinds of) assorted sushi. Sushi will be replenished regularly and is
taken out from the fridge. A chef will allot sashimi to each customer.
This would ensure hygiene and freshness.
For
cold drinks, there are cappuccino and 4 other fruit juices. But the
tastes are not good. It is better to drink water. Besides, hot drinks
include tea (Ceylon tea bag - red tea, green tea), lemon tea, and coffee
. Though the quality is not too high, the assortments are enough.
For
hot foods, there are Chinese BBQ pork (cha siu) and chicken, steam sea
fish (I have not tried, as the appearance cannot attract me to try),
fried rice, fried Udon, Chinese style vegetarian mixes, western
sausages, chicken wings, curry chicken, and self-served noodle counter (with fish ball, shrimp ball, green vegetable, mussel)
The
salads are fresh. There are corn, lettuce, red kidney bean, onion,
sliced beets, peach and mushroom. This is a counter we admire very
much in such a buffet price. In addition, there are creamy mushroom soup
and Chinese soup. Particularly for the Chinese soup, it should have been boiled for
several hours. The Chinese soup is tasty and concentrated. It is out of
stock long before the end.
For
the desserts, there are small food tarts, cheesecake, chocolate cake,
chocolate mousse, fruit jelly and Chinese desserts. The chocolate cake
is the best in the list, as in the photo attached. Fruits include fresh
pineapple, strawberry, watermelon, Hamigar , apple, orange and kiwi. They are refilled regularly.
Overall
speaking, if you do not have high expectation for lunch buffet at such
price, we will be delighted. Sashimi, sushi, soup, salad, fruits,
self-served noodle are of acceptable standard. Per head spending is $86.
In fact, we cannot expect more. At least, it is very much better than Brazil
BBQ Restaurant in price, service level, hygiene, food quality, variety
and everything you think of.
