Pumpkin soup is natural and is very much better than those cream or vegetable soups.
“Fresh Clam Linguini with Sour & Chili Sauce”should be a fusion dish. The sour and chili tastes are refreshing.
“Thai Green Curry Pork with Rice” is exactly as delicious as the Green
Curry in Wong Chun Chun Thai Restaurant. This is out of expectation.
Chestnut mousse is small in size but delicious. The quality is very
much higher than those desserts included in lunch set in other
restaurants. This is highly appreciated.
The cafe is not too packed.

A always dines in Baby Blue and appoints me to have lunch together.
A’s comment is that Baby Blue serves tasty foods at reasonable price.
This is a simple reason and is also the most important reason.
At
lunchtime, there are not many customers; they occupy only 4 tables out
of 20. We are allotted to a table near the window (with building view of
Lockhart Road). Under such circumstances, the café is not crowded and
noisy. We are quite
surprised there are not many customers at lunchtime in Causeway Bay.
When we ask the waitress, she said there are quite a lot of customers at
night for dinner or drink. Anyway, the weather is fine, it is a good
experience to lunch with the sunshine.
We
order 2 lunch sets, “Fresh Clam Linguini with Sour & Chili Sauce
特式酸辣蜆仔扁意粉$62”, and “Thai Green Curry Pork with Rice 泰式青咖哩豬扒配飯$62”. They
include soup, dessert and set tea. The bill is $136 (average per head $68).
Overall
performance is quite high, even though it is a lunch set. $62 per set
is nearly doubled the price in Cha Chaan Teng or Fast Food Shop. But if
you have tried the lunch set, the comment is value for money. Besides,
if you
order the main course alone at night, it is already $62, soup / dessert
/ set tea are all not included. The soup is Pumpkin soup, and dessert
is Chestnut mousse. The quality level has not yet been reduced because
they are included in the
lunch set. I would pay $20 for the Pumpkin soup (with a bun and butter)
and $18 Chestnut mousse, after the try. Service in the café is also
good. The Manager is a gentleman from the Philippines or Nepal, at
lunchtime; his English is easy to understand.
FYI, Dinner Seafood Set for 2 and Mussel Set for 2 are $368 and $398 respectively.
