Thai Farm Restaurant is a typical Thai restaurant of nice decoration.
Fried
Assorted Fresh Mushroom with White Wine $55 can only get a pass. It is
not oily, but the taste is quite strange. This dish should be deleted
in your next order.
Congee in Thai Style with Seafood $58 is in
larger portion than we expect. Taste is quite good. Seafoods are fresh.
This is the first time to try Thai congee.
Fried Crab with Curry
Sauce $118 is also large in portion, the crab is surely a fresh one.
Taste is not so good as that in our memory (in Wong Chun Chun and other
Thai restaurants). It is only an average item.
Beard roll $18 has totally 6 pieces.

Majority
rule is not always believable; our dining experience tonight is a good
example. We are in Kowloon City; there are wide selections of Thai
restaurants. Apart from Wong Chun Chun Thai Restaurant, we would like to
try another one. In terms of the number of diners in restaurant, in
South Wall Road, we may either select Thai Farm or Mini Bangkok
Restaurant. Finally, Thai Farm is our choice.
Less than 20
minutes, the whole restaurant is full and there are even more than 10
persons waiting outside. We do not want to order those deep fried items,
and order only 3 dishes. The bill is $274 (average per head $92).
Overall
performance is only average. We do expect the quality would be higher
because of the larger number of diners. This deduction is proved to be
wrong. Competition among Thai restaurants in Kowloon City should be very
keen. When we check the bill, 2 coupons of 30% discount in next visit
are given. Our decision is that we surely would not try in Thai Farm
again. There are in fact too many choices nearby.
