I
only remembered the restaurant was formerly called Ah Kwok Curry. We
know it is a very small restaurant, and would like to try and see
whether it is so good as Ah Kwok Curry (There is a New Ah Kwok Curry in
Tin Hau, but I
have not yet tried and have no intention to try as I am not sure
whether it is run by the same chef of former Ah Kwok Curry). If Ma Court
is fully occupied (by 20 persons), it is like the situation of high population in India. Though it is small, the decoration is a bit Indian, particularly the table cloth.
There
are many dinner sets of various prices. Since we have not yet tried
before, we only order the cheapest one $ 138 dinner set for 2. It
includes "Paspadams", "Springroll & Prawn Ravioli Curry", "Fried
Mixed Vegetables in Garlic Sauce ","
Curry Chicken ", a plate of plain rice, a piece of Chapati and 2 set
drinks. We both appreciate the food quality and taste. At last, we
additionally order a" Fish Curry $ 65 "and a piece of Chappati $ 10. The bill is $ 220 (average per head $ 110).
Overall
taste is better than our expectation. All foods are hot enough. Fish
and chicken are fresh. If not, we would not order an extra Fish Curry at
last. But the curry taste is different from that of the former Ah Kwok
Curry (I remembered
Ah Kwok was Pakistani, while Ma Court is Indian). When I check the
comments of other diners at home, they are mainly negative. We really do
not understand the reason of such a difference. Maybe, we are too
lucky. Service of waiters and waitresses is not bad as well. It is suggested to try. Maybe, we would try Curry Crab and Cuttlefish next time.
