"Antipasto Misto $79" is a platter of mixed Italian meats, smoked
Salmon & cheeses surrounded by an assortment of grilled veggies. We
can try more items in a platter.
"Pizza Al Dente $86" comes with herbed tomato sauce, Mozzarella
(Italian cheese), spinach, peppers, feta cheese, olives and chicken
stripes. The pizza is not dry, but still juicy. We appreciate very much.
"Seafood
Paella $142" is a Spanish rice cooked with shrimp, scallop, salmon,
king prawn, clam, mussel and scallion (a green onion), infused with
broth, herbs, spices and tomato sauce. The seafood is very fresh which
can be noticed from their appearance and texture. We all like this rice very much.
Cheese Cake is of creamy texture and strong flavor of cheese. It is another must-try apart from pizza and spaghetti.
Tiramisu is of average quality only, with strong flavor of wine. It can be skipped in your next visit.

We
would like to dine in Al Dente for a long time. Apart from the one in
Wanchai, we know there is also a restaurant in Central. We made booking
several days before, in order that we must make reservation
successfully. Al Dente Central is similar
to the one in Wanchai, it is a packed restaurant. If the restaurant is
not full, the atmosphere is still good. Decoration is of western style
and there is soft music. When the restaurant is full at about 1930, the
passage left is only possible for one person of normal size to pass. We have no choice but to accept, because of its foods of high standard.
We order appetizer, pasta, rice, pizza, mineral water and desserts.
The bill is $628 (average per head $125.8). This price is very much
lower than our expectation, in view of its food quality.
In
fact, we originally have the intention to order wine, but because the
restaurant is too small, this gives us a not-too-comfortable feeling. It
is not a place to stay long and drink wine. Foods are undeniably fresh
and delicious, they
are of very high quality. If such food quality is served in 5 Stars
hotel, the price would be at least doubled or tripled. Anyway, we still
prefer the atmosphere and location in Soho Central. We surely would dine
in Al Dente again and introduce friends to come.
