Wonton
is made from fresh shrimp (which is bouncy naturally). Apart from
shrimp, the filling has no pork. This is the main difference between
wonton of Mak's and other wonton restaurants. Its noodle is not al dente
enough, it can be better and improved.

Mak's
is one of the several famous wonton noodle restaurants in Hong Kong. We
are pleased to have a chance of trying its wonton noodle today. The
restaurant is a small one with old-fashioned setting. It seems that we
has passed through a times tunnel to the 80s. Hospitable service should not be expected.
We
only want to try its signature item - wonton noodle, and therefore we
both order wonton noodle (@$21). Comparatively, wonton noodle in Wing
Wah / Wanchai is still the best in aspects of wonton itself, noodle
texture, soup base and food material freshness. This does not mean that Mak's wonton noodle is not
tasty. It is already very good but not the champion in my mind.
