Vegetarian
Spaghetti $95 is a tasty one, fresh vegetables and spicy tomato sauce
are good match with spaghetti. The texture of spaghetti is not so al
dente as those from Al Dente Italian Restaurant (which is located in the same street). There is room
for improvement. Quality is above average, but not so tasty as those
from Al Dente.
Pizza Bianca $50 is a pizza cooked with olive oil, crushed garlic and oregano (a herb). It is a bit oily and too dry.
Tomato Soup $50

Tonight, we have not booked any restaurant in Soho Central. When
tables are available in Pepperonis, we pay a visit without hesitation.
We select a table in the balcony, which can oversee passers-by in
Staunton Street.
We
have dined in Pepperonis several times and several years before. Our
impression is not bad so far. Tonight we would like to have a vegetarian
meal. We therefore select all items (3 items) without meat. The bill is
$215 (average per head $107).
Having
tried other pizzas in Central, the pizza in Pepperonis is only average
in quality. Though the one we select have no meat and have garlic sauce
only, it is anyway not very tasty as we expect. Waitresses and chefs are
all non-Chinese. We assume their foods are closer to originality. Next time, we would
try its jumbo beef burger and bbq rib, which should be delightful items.
