Sugar & Vinegar Noodles 糖醋麵 $48 is a typical Chiu Chow
dish and quite a tasty one. It is crispy on one (top) surface and not
oily. When small amount of sugar and vinegar are added to the noodle, it
becomes more tasty.
Braised Leaf Mustard with Ham 火腿大芥菜 $48.
Leaf mustard has no bitter taste, is very tender and should have been
braised for a long time. If you do not like ham, you can instead select
sparerib or chestnut.
Fried Small Fish w/ Green Onion &
Yellow Bean Sauce 半煎煮竹仔魚 $48. Though the fish is small in size, it is
fresh and the meat is tender. Together with green onion and Chiu Chow
yellow bean sauce, overall taste is enhanced.
Marinated Sliced
Goose Meat and Tofu 滷水鵝片豆腐 $78 is a little bit salty. Maybe, the sauce
is too concentrated. Tofu is wholly covered by goose meat.

Chiu Chow Kitchen (PCC) is one of the many Chiu Chow restaurants in
Kowloon City. In my experience, food quality in most Chiu Chow
restaurants is not bad. Of course, some restaurants should have better
or outstanding quality.
Tonight, the restaurant is not full at
dinnertime. We can select any table by ourselves. We order 5 dishes (4
dishes with photo and a bowl of congee without photo) and a bottle of
beer, the bill is $360 (average per head $90). Food quality and taste in
PCC is average. Service is not too attentive. Since it is not full, we
can therefore have our dinner at a leisure pace.
