Pork
loin w/ Black Vinegar sauce 鎮江炸豬柳$118. Totally there are 8 small pieces
only. Before putting into the month, make sure to soak more black
vinegar sauce to fully enhance the taste. Pork loin is fresh and no meat
tenderizer has been added.
Fried
Chicken (Half Bird) $168 deserves to be the signature dish in Ming
Court. The chicken is fresh but not chilled. It is not greasy on the
skin, which is surely crispy. But the meat is still very juicy and rich
in chicken flavor .
When we check with the waitress the name of this chicken (not this
dish), she immediately said it is "Lung Kong Chicken". The fried lotus
root slices are tasty and crispy as well. We can only say all foods in
the plate are edible and cooked in high quality.
Sautéed String Bean w/ Marinated Termite Mushroom $108 is in a bit
smaller portion. The overall taste is enticing, the food materials match
perfectly.
Abalone Fried Rice $168 is not difficult to prepare for restaurant of
hotel standard. It is not in our expectation that there is a lot of
sliced abalone. It is still a value for money fried rice, even though
it is in such a price.
Ming Court is said to be the best Chinese restaurant in Mongkok.

Ming
Court is said to be the best Chinese restaurant serving Guangdong
cuisine in Mongkok. Dining in lunchtime and dinnertime, particularly
during weekends, is always full. This is why we would like to have a try
in dinnertime, to see whether its food quality is really in an outstanding manner. There is sufficient number of
servers, they are courteous and manner is natural. They know the menu
and food materials well and would not overdo, but their service manner
would not be so formal as that in Four Seasons.
We have not ordered dinner sets, but select 4 dishes and a rice. The
bill is $820 (average per head $275). In view of the food quality and
service, Ming Court is surely a restaurant for re-try.
