Rikyuan is located in Minden Avenue TST, just opposite to Japanese Restaurant Kenjo. It serves Kansaicuisine.
This Daily Special Meal Set $98 serves sashimi (left top), grilled
Salmon (top middle), deep-fried chicken (right top), braised sea brass
head (middle) and soup. Each meal set also serves green tea ice cream.
There are 3 pieces of deep-fried chicken, which is juicy inside and is not greasy.
Grilled Salmon is of alluring appearance and tasty. I like to eat Salmon in such a way.
Braised Sea Brass Head does not have a fishiness flavor. The sauce is like that for grilled eel. We like this item very much.
The rice is of Japanese origin for sure and cooked to the optimum texture.
At night, it should be a place for drinking and chatting.

Rikyuan
is newly opened Japanese restaurant in TST for about a month, and is
run by a native Japanese chef from Osaka (Kansai area). He has solid
experience in preparing Kaiseiki Ryori (懐石料理) in Osaka. Rikyuan is of
authentic modern Japanese decoration , there are 2 VIP rooms for group dining.
Maybe,
Rikyuan is still a new Japanese restaurant in TST, there are not many
diners in lunchtime. There are more than 10 options in the lunch menu;
we both select the daily special meal set at $98. The foods are surely
of Japanese taste and in very high quality. We are delighted to have tried such meal set in
Hong Kong . Each lunch meal set is served with green tea ice cream. We
recommend Rikyuan without hesitation.
