'Pomelo Salad' comes with black sesame tofu, grapefruit and ham. It is refreshing.
Fried Glutinuous Rice Cake with Fresh Fruit and Vegetable
Back: 'Beancurd Sheet in Thai Style' is immersed in soup of Tom Yum. It is a tasty fusion dish.
Front: 'Baked Egg White with Cheese' is like eating Japanese snack.
Coarse Rice
'Grilled Stuffed Eggplant' is unexpectedly delectable. Eggplant is still juicy.
'Japanese sprouts in XO Sauce' is an averaged item.

When
Veggie Palace (VP) started business in 2006 in Wanchai, it served lunch
and dinner sets only. A la carte was not available in the very
beginning. It changed to a speakeasy thereafter (A la carte is not
avaialbe as well). High quality lunch and dinner at price of $168 and $198 respectively are
served. Mrs. Fung (the owner) would ask you whether you frequently dine
in VP, if so, she would have special arrangement in the food serving
you.
VP
is not a too small restaurant. Owing to the strange building layout, I
always think that it is not comfortable to dine in VP. It has a private
dining room at the end, much better dining ambiance is provided. Even
though the price per head at night is $198, the restaurant is still full. There is only one
reason - the food of high quality. Servers are polite and attentive,
there is still room of improvement anyway.
Each
$198 speakeasy dinner set comes with 9 dishes, 1 soup and 2 desserts.
We deeply believe that chefs and Mrs. Fung have put great efforts in
food preparation, and cook foods with heart. Food portion is sufficient
in view of dinner. Some diners even have to take away unfinished foods.
