Goose
Web in Abalone Sauce is recommended by the waiter. There are only 4
pieces of goose web and several pieces of vegetable in the pot. The main
character (goose web) is good in texture and taste. I do not think that
the goose web would not be tasty in Fu Tung. In my mind, Fu Tung is a specialist in
cooking goose web and of course abalone. This dish is a must try.
Steamed Tofu with Scallop. The scallop on top of tofu is fresh and has
been cut into two halves. The preserved black bean, scallop and tofu
are perfect match of one another.
'Taro and Pumpkin in Pot' is within our expectation that it is tasty.
Except the pumpkin is not in very good quality, the whole pot of
vegetables is in high quality.
Almond Sweet Soup $10 is slippery. Egg white has been added into the
soup. There is a slight flavor of almond. FYI, Chinese sweet soup is
served to each diner at free. This almond sweet soup is our extra order.

We
have a casual dinner in Fu Tung Seafood Restaurant (FT), which is not a
Chinese restaurant of large area. It is located on the ground floor and
first floor of an old building. On the wall, pictures of celebrities
and abalones are hung . Even though there is no subtle interior decoration, we understand that FT is a restaurant serving seafood and abalone.
Today,
there are not many diners and most of them are sitting on the ground
floor. There is only our table on the first floor. Even though we do not
order expensive dishes, the waiter is still good in manner. He has not
pushed us to order expensive dishes.
We
order only 3 dishes, the bill is $360 (average per head $120). This
should not be a low price in view of the dishes we order. Food portion
is comparatively small. In terms of food material freshness, taste and
their attitude of cooking foods, it is really a good meal. We would have another meal of seafood in FT later.
