Fried Pumpkin & Muk (Konjac). Both items are quite chewy, but can be better in taste.
Starter
is Yacon (天山雪蓮) which is a bit sweet and has crisp texture. It is like a
mixture of apple and watermelon. It contains indisgestible sugar,
inulin. Though it is sweet, it contains less calories than would be
expected.
Today Soup $45 is rich in vegetable and Longan flavors. It is prepared with heart.
Steamed Beadcurd Sheet w/ Lettuce is an average stuff tonight.
Fried
Rice w/ Chinese Toon (香椿炒飯). Leave of Chinese Toon has an onion-like
flavor. Rice, freshly cooked, can still have very good texture. It is a
fried rice with fragrance and good taste.

It
is also full house tonight. If we have not booked in advance, we must
not visit for the sake of getting a table by luck. It seems that a
larger portion of diners is female.
Service tonight is not
attentive enough. It takes quite a long time before the order can be
placed. We order 4 items, average spending is about $200. The reason we
visit Pure Veggie again is mainly because of its above average food
quality. Maybe, there are too many diners tonight, it takes longer time
than usual before the dishes are served and food quality seems to drop a
bit. We understand it is not easy to control food quality always at
high level. Today soup and fried rice are still of memorable high level,
it is not easy to find similar such quality in other vegetarian
restaurants. Even so, we would come again once in a while.
