The portion is very generous. It is value for money though the price is about $80 per claypot.
Sparerib is fresh, this is evidened by its texture and taste. Rice has been cooked to good quality, but it can be better.
Claypot Rice of Chicken and Mushroom
Chicken is also fresh as the meat is quite bouncy naturally and has been marinated with ginger sauce. Chicken and ginger are good companions. Mushrooms are also of very large size.
Brocolli
There are not too many diners this evening.

We are not to visit any person in the ward, it is just for trying the claypot rice in the hospital canteen. Basically, on the day of our visit, there are not more than 10 diners in the canteen. Though it is a prestigious hospital, the canteen has basic decoration only (or simply no decoration). We can easily select a table with a view of the racecourse. Food ordering is like a fast food restaurant, we have to order and pay at the cashier counter. Once the foods are ready, the numbers would be announced.
We only order two claypots of rice and vegetable. It takes more than twenty minutes for the preparation and cooking. But it does not matter and we have taken this factor into account. Quality food materials are used. Both pork and chicken are fresh, the taste is completely different from those chilled and frozen ones. Together with optimum seasonings, these two rice claypots are very delicious. Though the portion is generous, we still have finished them all. If the rice can be changed to Japanese rice, it would be an omnipotent rice claypot on the island.
