Blueberries, grapes, apples, and dragon fruit are often called "anti-cancer fruits" because they are rich in antioxidants and phytochemicals that help the body fight free radicals, reduce cell damage, and thus lower the risk of cancer.
1) Blueberries contain large amounts of anthocyanins and vitamin C. These antioxidants protect DNA from free radical damage and help inhibit the growth of tumor cells.
2) Grapes, especially purple grapes, contain resveratrol in their skin and seeds. Studies have shown that it can inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells and promote apoptosis, making it a natural anti-cancer ingredient.
3) Apples are rich in dietary fiber and polyphenols, which promote gut health and reduce the time carcinogens remain in the intestines. Polyphenols also have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
4) Dragon fruit contains betalains and vitamin C, which can enhance immunity and have antioxidant properties, helping to reduce the risk of chronic diseases and cancer.
While these fruits have anti-cancer potential, they are not "cancer drugs," but rather provide protection through a regular diet.
Maintaining a balanced diet, eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, and limiting oil and salt intake, along with healthy lifestyle habits, is fundamental to cancer prevention.
In other words, the value of anti-cancer fruits lies in long-term consumption, allowing the body to receive natural protection in daily life.
