Aberdeen Yau Kee Noodle Factory - Brand Story
Aberdeen Yau Kee Noodle Factory was established in the 1950s and is a Hong Kong company with a long history. With his passion and expertise in noodle making, the founder started out in Apleichau, expanded sales to Aberdeen, and then gradually expanded the business to the whole of Hong Kong.
With a history of over 70 years, Yau Kee still persists in making noodles. It would rather make less profit than damage the quality and reputation, and selects the best and most suitable ingredients. The flour is Canadian high-gluten flour, which is fragrant and smooth; the eggs are Hubei eggs, which are rich in yolk oil and have a strong egg aroma; the signature shrimp roe noodles are made with seasonal first-class river shrimp roe, which can be smelled when eaten; the alkaline noodles are more complete the alkali-removing process to ensure a smooth and refreshing taste without choking the throat. Yau Kee still retains the traditional noodle-making techniques, allowing customers to taste the most authentic Hong Kong flavour.
In order to cater to the society's pursuit of health, in addition to the traditional shrimp roe noodles, abalone noodles and dried scallop noodles, it has also launched healthy noodles such as tomato noodles, spinach noodles, soba noodles, Okinawa Mozuku ramen, etc., so that fans can have more choices.
Yau Kee supplies to many local restaurants, hotels and club house, it also has seven retail outlets in Hong Kong. The main shop is located at Aberdeen Main Street, and other branches include South Horizons, Apleichau, Wan Chai, Sai Ying Pun, Sai Wan and Mongkok.
Keeping pace with the times, Yau Kee has expanded its product sales to its own website and large-scale sales online platforms, which not only facilitates Hong Kong fans, but also supplies products to Macau, Canada, England and Australia.
