Cheung Chau is a very popular outlying island in Hong Kong. It is shaped like a dumbbell. There are many people on it during holidays, and of course there are many tourist spots.
1. Cheung Bo Tsai Cave: This cave is said to be the place where pirate Cheung Bo Tsai hid his treasure during the Qing Dynasty. It is a historical attraction, but it is difficult for fat people to enter the cave.
2. Tung Wan Beach: The water here is clear and the sand is fine, suitable for swimming and water activities.
3. Cheung Chau Theater: Completed in 1931, it became a multicultural area after restoration.
4. Pak Tai Temple: With a history of more than 240 years, it is the venue for the annual Buddha's Birthday Bun-Snatching Competition.
5. Cheung Chau Little Great Wall: A hiking route along the coastline, where you can enjoy strange rocks and beautiful sea views.
6. There are also many temples on Cheung Chau, including four Tin Hau Temples, Hung Shing Temple and Kwan Kung Pavilion.
