What should Hong Kong residents abroad do if they need help?
If Hong Kong residents overseas need assistance, they may choose the following methods:
1) Call the 24-hour helpline of the "Assistance to Hong Kong Residents Unit" of the Immigration Department at: (852) 1868;
2) Call the "1868" hotline using network data through the "Immigration Department Mobile App" or use the 1868 chatbot;
3) Send a message to the 1868 WhatsApp helpline or 1868 WeChat helpline; or
4) Submit the online help form to ask for help.
