設計師的想法就是市民的想法嗎？

一個落成幾十年的私人屋苑，以設計師的想法設計屋苑的公共空間。
把坐椅變成石壆和涼亭，顯得設計獨特吧。
但設計師的想法就是市民的想法嗎？當然不是。
某屋苑落成四十年後有了新座椅，這是真座椅，是雙人長椅，中間有扶手分隔，原來市民就是喜歡這樣的新座椅。
沒有人懷疑設計師的藝術頭腦和用心，但在這樣的新座椅使用後，便知道市民和設計師的想法有落差。
無論設計實體是怎樣的獨特和革命性，設計始終要受到用家的歡迎才算是好的設計和好的設計師。

A private housing estate that has been built for decades, the public space of the housing estate is designed with the designer's ideas.
They turn the seats into stone pavilions of a unique design.
But are the designers' ideas the citizens' ideas? Of course not.
Forty years after its completion, this private housing estate has new seats.
It is a real seat, a double bench with an armrest in the middle.
It turns out that citizens like this kind of new seat.
No one doubts the designer's artistic acumen and intentions, but after using this new chair, they know that there is a gap between the ideas of citizens and designers.
No matter how unique and revolutionary the design entity is, a design must always be welcomed by users to be considered a good design and the designer a good designer.
