Many people don't want to learn the language well. They are lazy and said they don't have time.
Even if they live in a place for a long time, they are too lazy to learn and only use English.
When I was buying coffee at a coffee shop, a young South Asian girl asked me in pure Cantonese what I wanted.
I looked at her, continued to say that I wanted to buy black coffee, and then paid.
I really admire her learning of Cantonese in Hong Kong and she learned Cantonese like a real Hong Kong person.
She has increased her employment opportunities and income.
