龐氏騙局（Ponzi scheme）

#龐氏騙局（Ponzi scheme）是非法性質的金融詐騙手法，是一個著名的代表案例，發生於20世紀初的美國。它吸引投資者並利用後期投資者的資金向早期投資者支付利息。時至今日，#龐茲騙局 的各種變體（ #資金盤 、#老鼠會 ）依舊存在金融市場中。
其運作模式多以投資名義，給予高額回報誘使受害人投資，看似與一般的證券基金的模式並無區別，但在龐茲騙局中，投資的回報來自於後來加入的投資者，而非公司本身透過正當投資盈利，即「拆東牆補西牆」。透過不斷吸引新的投資者加入，以支付前期投資者的利息，初期通常在短時間內獲得回報以利於推行，再逐漸拉長給息時間。隨着更多人加入，資金逐漸入不敷出，直到騙局泡沫爆破時，後期的大量投資者便會蒙受金錢損失。

A Ponzi scheme is a form of fraud that lures investors and pays profits to earlier investors with funds from more recent investors.[1] Named after Italian businessman Charles Ponzi, the scheme leads victims to believe that profits are coming from legitimate business activity (e.g., product sales or successful investments), and they remain unaware that other investors are the source of funds. A Ponzi scheme can maintain the illusion of a sustainable business as long as new investors contribute new funds, and as long as most of the investors do not demand full repayment and still believe in the non-existent assets they are purported to own.

層壓式推銷或金字塔式騙局（英語：Pyramid scheme），在華語地區別稱老鼠會（源自臺語黑話），是一種「無法持久永續經營」（unsustainable）的商業銷售運作模式，在大多數國家及社會的法律及案件中被視為「非法商業行為」。值得注意的是，有些公司會以合法的「直銷」（或多層次直銷）作為「金字塔騙局」的包裝，導致直銷與金字塔騙局兩者曖昧難分，事實上，兩者也有相當相似之處。
