Fresh Matsutaki Mushroom HK$278/100g
Matsutake mushrooms are known as the king of fungi in Japan, and they cannot be cultivated artificially.
Matsutake has the functions of invigorating the kidney, regulating qi and resolving phlegm, and anti-cancer.
Matsutake has high nutritional value, is rich in protein (or can also be written as rich in amino acids, rather than rich in protein and amino acids), and has 3 active substances (double-chain matsutake polysaccharide, matsutake polypeptide, and anti-cancer matsutakeol).
Matsutake is mainly wild, very expensive, and has a short storage time. Therefore, the nutritional value of fresh Matsutake is higher than that of dried products. The nutrition and efficacy of dried Matsutake (with a faint taste of Matsutake) are only 10% of fresh Matsutake.
How to eat: Stew chicken, stew meat, stir-fry vegetables, or dehydrate for snacks. I have personally eaten Matsutake stewed chicken and dried Matsutake. If you have more money, you might as well buy dried matsutake mushrooms for snacks.
