Kvevri or Qvevri (Georgian: ქვევრი [kʰvɛvri]) - also known as Tchuri (Georgian: ჭური) in Western Georgia - are large earthenware vessels used for the fermentation, storage and ageing of traditional Georgian wine. Resembling large, egg-shaped amphorae without handles, they are either buried below ground or set into the floors of large wine cellars. Kvevris vary in size: volumes range from 20 litres to around 10,000; 800 is typical.
Kvevri 或 Qvevri(格魯吉亞語:ქვევრი [kʰvɛvri])——在格魯吉亞西部也被稱為 Tchuri(格魯吉亞語:ჭური)——是用於發酵、儲存和陳釀傳統格魯吉亞葡萄酒的大型陶器。 它們類似於沒有把手的大型蛋形雙耳瓶,要么埋在地下,要么埋在大型酒窖的地板上。 Kvevris 大小不一:容量從 20 升到 10,000 左右不等; 800是典型的。
