1. Put down the work or thing at hand and sit down.
2. Drink a glass of water slowly and let the mood calm down.
3. Take five deep breaths, exhale slowly and inhale slowly.
4. Count from one to twenty, then read from A to Z
5. Call relatives or friends. If you can't find someone, you might as well call to ask about the weather.
6. Read some magazines, newspapers and see family albums.
7. Find paper and pen to write down how you felt at the time.
8. If the anger still persists, hit the pillow vigorously or press on the palm, and then slowly chew an apple.
9. Depending on the weather, take a hot or cold bath.
10. Find a place to lie down, and then raise your feet.
11. Play a song you like.
12. Count the number of vehicles and pedestrians passing by outside the window.
