Moon Bakery @ Myanmar

With Lonely Planet (though it is not the best travel companion), if you are brave and professional enough, there is no need to prepare the itinerary before the trip to Myanmar. Besides, four things which must be done before the trip are 1) buy air tickets, 2) apply visa, 3) pack luggages, and 4) change US dollars. FYI, the wooden bridge on the front cover is a must visit in Myanmar. Photos of this wonderful wooden bridge will be posted later.

Ice Lemon Tea and Myanmar Tea. Ice tea is normal in taste, but Myanmar tea is in fact tea with milk. It is a bit strange and anyway a good experience.

Chicken Burger with Chips looks quite good. The burger is warm and chips are crispy.

This should be a very high class cafe in Yangon Myanmar. The diners are in much better dressing than those in the street. Western foods and drinks are not common in Myanmar, there is still no KFC and McDonald's.

The menu is in English. Cool!

Moon Bakery is located at one of the busiest streets in Yangon. The district should be like Mongkok in Hong Kong, with many people, hawkers and traffic and shops. We are tired and would like to eat and drink something in the afternoon.

It is better to try western style stuffs. A pity is that there is no McDonald’s and KFC. We therefore select this Moon Bakery, it seems to be a café with quality. In reality, we cannot compare Moon Bakery with those in Hong Kong. But it is already quite good in all aspects.
