Though Yangon is now not the capital of Myanmar, it is still the largest city and the most important commercial centre in Myanmar. There are about four millions people in Yangon. Yangon's infrastructure is undeveloped compared to those of other major cities in Asia.

In the city centre, there are quite a lot of commercial signages. In my experience, these similar signages can also be found in other Southeast Asian countries.

The passage is too narrow, only two persons of normal side are allowed.

Agricultural produces are also displayed in the street. But this is not a wet market.

Please note that the jigsaw is not electrical, but manual.

Cold water is sold in the street. This means refrigerator is not too common in Myanmar. At least, it is not owned by each family.

Dining in street is common. They do not care too much about the hygiene.

Cooked foods are displayed in such a way.

This is in fact a stall selling cooked internal organs of animal.

This is much better. All foods are packed in plastic bag.

Mostly hawkers cannot speak in English, but the man in the middle can. He has worked in Malaysia for ten years.
