At the entrance of Ha Tam Shui Hang Village (下擔水坑村), there is a stall serving food and drinks.
It is a stall, but not a shop. Tables and chairs are available.
Chinese herbal tea
Hakka steamed dumplings (客家茶果) are at very reasonable price.
Dried food, like purple sweet potato, sweet potato and radish.
Tea leaves and candy
Peanut and cakes
Baked salted egg and baked salted chicken
Delivery service is available in Sha Tau Kok.
Steamed Hakka dumplings
Beancurd pudding at HK$5 / bowl
Beancurd pudding
Bottled herbal tea
It is very cold.
We have only bought some drinks and snacks. It is of course a nice place for us to rest and recharge, before a walking trip in Sha Tau Kok of about two hours. To city dwellers, this stall is quite special in outlook and we do have a positive impression towards the Hakka food of Sha Tau Kok.
