'Pork Chop w/ Egg Rice Set' is served with a generous portion of mixed vegetables. It is still very hot, we can see the white fume from rice and pan-fried egg.
There are two small pieces of pork chop, but no meat tenderizer has been added. The taste is natural and nice.
Braised Chicken Rice Set. The rice is served separately and in nice fish-shaped plate.
Chicken meat is cooked with soy sauce and garlic paste. There is also balance of diet when dining in the Philippines. But in Hong Kong, if you order pork chop with rice, only pork chop and rice are served. Vegetables must not be included.
Las Vegas Lodge & Restaurant should be a famous restaurant in Banaue. When we ask the locals which restaurants would serve tasty food, they immediately inform us it is Las Vegas. At night, Las Vegas is the only place in Banaue where live band is available. It would be a nice experience to listen to live band and have our meal or drink.

I am so sorry that it is reported not to dine in People’s, from the travel books. Basically the travelers would have only breakfast in People’s.
We are pleased to be introduced to Las Vegas Lodge & Restaurant to have our late lunch. In Banaue, it should be a restaurant with decoration. Of course, it is Philipino decoration. At one corner, there is a stage with musical instruments. It should be a good experience to have live band and dinner together.
At lunch time, we order two meal sets (chicken and pork chop) only as we do not have much time left. We have to meet our schedule to the next scenic spots. Normally in the Philippines , we are quite delighted that a generous portion of mixed vegetables is included in meal set. There is no need to order extra dish of green vegetable. Both chicken and pork chop, though in small portion, are quite tasty and no meat tenderizer has been added. The foods are freshly cooked for us. This should be the reason why it is well-known by the locals.
