Chocolate
Doughnut is the best of its kind we have. It is freshly baked. Together
with the tasty hot chocolate paste, it becomes a fantastic doughnut. We
are touched!
Whole Grain Bread w/Unsalted Butter and Sugarless Jam. Bread is fresh, warm, natural and tasty.
Sliced Fresh Fruits and Crispy Muesli
Coffee
and Tea. In fact, another glass of orange juice is also included in the
set, but it has not been shown in the pictures here.
Apart
from pastry and bread, Patisserie also serves chocolate. Each piece of
chocolate is priced at about HK$15, this should be a very high price in
the Philippines. I have not done any further investigation. Patisserie
should be similar to The Peninsula in Hong Kong, I guess. If you know

Apart from being a hotel, Manila Pavilion is also a casino. It is a
stunning first class hotel in Manila. Totally there are five
restaurants, serving western and Chinese cuisines.
Patisserie
is a French style pastry shop. We do not know this (Patisserie)
beforehand, we only want to visit Manila Pavilion and know it should
give us something different. Our experience tells us that our thinking
is right.
After
the order is placed, it takes time for the preparation. We are glad
that the food would not be served to us immediately. At least, they have
done something to delay the serving or they in fact are preparing for
the food. Food portion is very generous, in view of our experience in
Hong Kong. We are lucky we have not ordered two breakfast sets as we
have to ensure total food portion before we order more. We also do not
want to waste any food.
Quality
foods are served by Patisserie, we have no hesitation to have such
comment. To be a pastry shop, we are still astonished by the doughnut of
exceptionally high quality, we have never experienced such doughnut in
Hong Kong. If you have chance to visit Manila, don't forget to visit
Manila Pavilion and try its pastry and bread in Patisserie.
