In Khao Shan Road, it is like we are not in Bangkok. Except the servers and waiters / waitresses, nearly ninety percent of customers and tourists are from Europe. They / we all would like to spend holiday and money in Khao Shan Road.
Most restaurants are nearly full at night, we specially select this Popiang House today, mainly because we would like to try the grilled fish and it has a much better contact with the public. Besides grilled fish, we also order mussel, sandwich and beer.
It takes about thirty minutes to grill the fish. Though the fish is not live, it is at any rate very fresh and we do not have any trace of fishiness. Since the chefs have to grill numerous tails of fish everyday, they are already professional in the grill. It is a pleasurable experience to have meal in this festive tourist attraction – Khao Shan Road.
