The vegetable is too oily. To be chef, he should know how much oil finally the dish will have.
Signature Pork in Soy Sauce
Pork is definitely fresh, as the texture and taste are both good. It is a home-made dish.
Goose in Sauce should be cooked in similar way.
Soup
We have ordered two signature dishes.
Different soups are available. Some soups should be ordered in advance.
This is a small restaurant, or it is better to be called "an eatery".

Sam’s Kitchen is a small eatery, operated by the owner and his wife. The ground is mainly the kitchen and most tables are served at mezzanine floor (it should not be the second floor), since the floor height is a bit shorter. Maybe, because interior decoration is inferior to others on the same street, it does not have so many diners comparatively.
We do not know what should be ordered, simply we order goose, pork, vegetable and soup. Frankly speaking, its taste does have a home feel. All three dishes are cooked in the right track. But there is problem with the rice. It is plain rice, but it should be left over. It is not accepted under all circumstances. It ruins the meal.
After the meal, we learn and can guess the reason why it is not so crowded as other eateries on the same street. It does have its own reason. Most diners are clever and their tongues are sensitive enough to distinguish what quality dishes and plain rice should be.
