After its re-opening (it should be operated by another owner), it is the first time for us to dine in Aberdeen Wholesale Fish Market Canteen. There is no much change in the interior. For the exterior, there is a new signage, it is easier for passers-by to notice there is a restaurant in the Wholesale Fish Market.
Without confidence in a new restaurant, we would not order
higher-priced dishes, for safety sake and there is no such need to order expensive items. Besides, expensive dish does not mean that it must be a quality one.
We order four items in the menu leaflet, including fish soup, fish meat roll, vegetable and tofu. Frankly speaking, we are not impressed in this meal, or we are quite disappointed. Msg has been added to fish soup. Fried fish meat roll has not been fried in sufficient time and the meat is not good. With high probability, tofu should have been fried by thousand-years oil, resulting that it is too dark in colour, but the taste is not bad.
Anyway, without any other special reason(s), we would not arrange meal again here. Maybe, if we order dishes of higher price, the result will be completely different.
