There are three Kyoto Matcha Cafes in Hong Kong. The one in Wong Chuk Hang is quite large. The ceiling is very high, resulting that the ambiance is much better. In the afternoon tea time, we order desserts and drinks. There is not too much patronage.
Matcha stuffs are alluring in colour and appearance. Cheesecake and egg roll are ordered. Matcha flavor of the cheesecake is strong, but it is not strong enough for the egg roll. It is a nice place to hang out for leisure and work. But for savoring authentic Japanese matcha stuffs, it should not be the best place in Hong Kong. Maybe, there is no the best place in Hong Kong, if you have tried those authentic and delicious matcha stuffs in Japan.
