Lei Garden Houston Centre is a member of Lei Garden Group we like to frequent. Today we have lunch here again. It is a bit surprised that the restaurant is not full at lunchtime. What we guess is that some waitresses do politely push customers to order higher priced items, or other reasons that we do not know.
As usual, we mainly order dim sum. Totally, we order eight items. But we order them separately, in order that there are not too many dim sums in front of us at the same time. Another reason you may know is that we may not be able to finish them in a short time, if so, overall dim sum quality would drop if it is not freshly cooked and fried.
Anyway, in this Lei Garden, dim sum quality can still be maintained. Besides, sometimes, there is also surprise to us even though the dim sum is generally available in Hong Kong. For example, the steamed rice with chicken, it is freshly steamed, rice texture is good and not too soft. The most important point is that each piece of rice is still very hot in our mouth.
