Milk Jam (thick)
Toast$8. For normal thickness, it is $6 only. You may also select
sandwich bread or raisin bread at the time of placing order. The one I
order is raisin bread. The surface is a bit crispy and the bread is
still warm.
Yuanyang(鴛鴦) $9 is a drink mixed with coffee and Hong Kong style milk tea. The proportion in fact may vary a little.
Ho
Wah is a local style cha chaan teng / cafe. Thanks a lot for the lady
to be the model in this photo and demonstrate how to drink a tasty
coffee.
Ho Wah Cafe should have a history of about 30 years (This is the content discussed by diners behind me).

Ho
Wah Café (HW) is a teahouse (cha chaan teng) with retrospective and
classic (or nearly no) decoration. Except new-generation cha chaan teng,
like Tsui Wah, HW also gives me a feeling that it takes extra attention
on hygiene. The special smell of old style cha chaan teng is not
available. This is why it is always crowded inside and outside the café
for the whole day, and there are always female / OL diners.
I
order a toast and a glass of yuanyang (CoffTea or Tea Espress, a drink
mixed with coffee and black tea with milk, is one of the typical Hong
Kong style beverages of mixing east with west); the bill is $17 only.
Both items are very good in my experience. It is always a valuable
experience to try in an old-fashioned tea house, like HW. I am sorry that
I am always afraid such old Hong Kong eateries would soonest be
extinguished. We should therefore treasure what we still have at the
moment.
