Mexican Bun Stuffed w/ Custard and Milk is one of the signature items
in Hong Lin Restaurant. The quality is very high. Tasty Mexican bun is
not commonly available in Hong Kong. All breads and tarts are freshly
baked.
Egg Tart is very hot, be careful! For freshly baked egg tart, it is mostly delicious.
Chicken wings and freshly baked bun are both tasty.
'Fried Chicken Thigh w/ Fruit Salad' serves with 3 pieces of chicken wing.
Noodle quality in 'Instant Noodle w/ Chicken Wing, Fried Egg and
Sesame Bun' is average only. For an afternoon set of $29, it is surely
value for money.

We
would like to have an afternoon tea in Hong Lin. It is nearly full
house and this should be expected. It is a typical Hong Kong Cha Chaan
Teng. Its interior decoration is quite similar to that of Tsui Wah.
Maybe, they in fact belong to the same group. 2 ladies standing outside the restaurant are salesladies of freshly baked bread and tart.
We
order two afternoon tea sets, an egg tart and a Mexico bud. The bill is
$66 (average per head $33). The food quality is very high, and
comparable to that in Tsui Wah. All foods served are very hot, this
should be the attitude of serving the best to diners. We surely appreciate
Hong Lin very much. In next visit, we would try its signature items,
like Swiss chicken wing, satay beef bun and Hainanese chicken rice.
