It is not expected its milk tea is of high quality, in the sense that tea flavor and fragrance are both outstanding. It is a bit inferior to that of Café de Coral only.
Noodle in soup with spicy diced pork is an average one, portion is not generous.
Butter sandwich, sausage and fried egg are served with the above noodle in soup.
Laksa looks very good and impressive. But the taste in fact is not enough, it is also not authentic and spicy enough. We failed to order these combinations. This gives us a lesson we cannot order special items in a traditional Cha Chaan Teng. It is always disappointing.
The most impressive is the interior of this Cha Chaan Teng. This is the main reason for us to select Lam Yuen Cafe.
Wooden bench seating and circular table are not easily found in cafes nowadays.
Wall and floor files should be given attention.

We do not know there is such a Lam Yuen Café in Kam Tin. The name in English is not known, it is the pinyin of its Cantonese name. We are attracted by its interior and layout, which are so retrospective, no matter whether they are the bench seating, ceiling fan, wall and floor tiles. This café should have a history of more than 40 years.
What it serves are noodles and sandwiches, it does not serve rice. Drinks of course include coffee and tea. I have ordered a cup of Yuan Yang (鴛鴦), it is the first time for me to order and try. As far as I know, for the best Yuan Yang, the proportion of coffee to tea should be 60/40. Besides, It is not expected its milk tea is of high quality, in the sense that tea flavor and fragrance are both outstanding. It is a bit inferior to Café de Coral only.
