There
are 4 large pieces of 'Grilled Fish'. Fish meat is juicy and the skin
is a bit crispy. It is hot and freshly grilled. Together with green
onion & ginger paste, fish taste has been augmented. It is quite a
yummy selection .
It is delighted that rice is of Japanese origin. It is chewy and tasty.
Sushi Set is nicely displayed on a long plate. This would surely
enhance food quality. This set is also served with a small bowl of soba.
Only tea or coffee is availale.

We
do not visit TST Soho regularly, we visit Knutsford Terrace today and
select The Yuu. It is unexpectedly quite a large Japanese restaurant.
Interior decoration and layout are warm and of Japanese feel. Tables are
not packed. It should be a quality Japanese restaurant in the beginning. Though there is no hospitable service, it is at
least of average level. In the lunchtime of our visit, the Yuu is only
50% full.
We
order two lunch sets, sushi and grilled fish. Most lunch sets are
priced below $100. Maybe, the competition in Knutsford Terrace is too
keen or there are not sufficient diners in lunchtime, the pricing is
very reasonable or at least 20% cheaper than expected.
For
the two sets ordered, they are presented in an alluring manner. No
matter whether the foods are really delicious, the presentation would
surely enhance the overall rating. Maybe, The Yuu belongs to King Parrot
Group, foods are not very very delicious (this is
my impression towards this group). This phenomenon is quite similar to
EL Cid in the same group. To conclude, foods served in The Yuu is not
very outstanding or is only average. Foods are not Japanese enough, it
is better to describe as fusion Japanese food. If you are follower of authentic Japanese food, The Yuu should not be your cup of tea.
