Chicken Rice (Thai Style) is in the right track in the first glance.
Though the chicken in a chilled one, it is still in an alluring yellow
colour. Chicken is tender and not dry. Both chicken meat and rice are
very hot when served, this is much appreciated . To attain the best enjoyment of
chicken meat, it is suggested to dip the Thai spicy & sour orange
sauce.
Each piece of rice is in very good quality, not oily, and with delectable chicken soup flavor.
'Pan-fried
Flat Noodle' is also in nice appearance. It is not oily, each piece of
noodle is surrounded by Thai sweet & sour sauce. There are several
pieces of shrimp and fried tofu as well. Shrimp is chilled and I have
tried one only. Apart from shrimp, the whole plate of noodle is very much
above average and is a delicious dish. Noodle is al dente and tender.
'Grilled Prawns @$19' is not served in the manner I expect. I expect
it should be grilled with a lot of sauce. The size is large enough and
the color is attractive, though it is also a chilled one.
Taking away the shell and appendages, the prawn meat is not too
impressive and bouncy enough. It is anyway a chilled prawn. The quality
is much below the chicken rice and fried noodle in the above.

Cuisine is of local restaurant decoration. If not because of
recommendation by friend, we surely would not pay a visit. There is no
hospitable service or the servers do not know what hospitable service
is. But it is not a big deal, provided it is a restaurant serving delicious dishes.
We
order 4 dishes only tonight, of course, including the signature
Hainanese Chicken Rice. Before long, all dishes are served. We are
delighted the chicken meat in Hainanese Chicken Rice is also served in
hot. For quite a lot of other restaurants, the chicken meat is normally served in cold. To me, the Hainanese Chicken
rice can get nearly full marks, in view of overall taste, meat and rice
texture, and sour & spicy sauce.
Other dishes are of above quality. We really do not expect such a
small restaurant in Hung Hom can serve such high quality Thai food,
particularly Hainanese Chinese Rice. Hope its quality can be maintained
in your upcoming visit.
