'Yang Zhou Fried Rice' is in exceptionally large portion. Rice is not
dry enough. It is average only and suggested to put into the micro-oven
for several minutes before frying in the wok.
Such bundle of flowers should be a must in restaurants in the Mainland.
Vegetable with a natural red color is not commonly available in Hong Kong. This one is nutritive.
Braised Fresh Water Grouper (桂花魚). The river fish is still alive not long before, its meat is bouncy and fresh.
It is braised with mushroom, baby bamboo and garlic.
Further to former visit, we decide to visit again today. It should
be the best restaurant available in Libo. We particularly treasure the
freshness of river fish, we order a fish again. Besides, we order fried
rice and vegetable.
Today,
we would like to eat braised fish and see whether the cooking skill is
still good. Within our expectation, the fish in such cooking style is
still palatable. Another main reason is that the fish is still alive
several minutes before. But the fried rice is too large in portion and not dry enough. We really cannot realize how to finish this fried rice in such a large portion.
Though
we have not tried other food materials in Libo Sanli, food quality of
two meals we have is definitely not low or should be comparable to those
in Hong Kong or Guangzhou . Since the river fish is good in quality and
still alive not long before, such a high food material quality is the main reason for a palatable
braised fish. We therefore leave Libo with memory of palatable river
fish meals.
