'Pomelo Salad' is a tasty appetizer. Shrimp is fresh enough, the sauce is tasty and not too sweet or sour.
Tom Yum is appealing and the taste is authentic. It is the colour we are comfortable and looking for.
There are three half pieces of shrimp at the bottom. But its freshness can be better.
'Green Curry with Chicken' is quite good in taste, it is better to mix
with plain rice. The sauce is a bit too sticky and is not the one we
are looking for. There is much room of improvement in this dish.
About 30 minutes is needed to prepare this Grilled Fish (Tilapia).
Fish is fresh; meat is tasty, tender and juicy. It is not salty as well.
It is a must order in Shau Shau Shau.
'Fried Thai Rice Vermicelli' is cooked in the right colour and
appearance. Rice Vermicelli is not too dry or too wet, it has also
absorbed the fish sauce. Much appreciated.
Baby Cabbage is cooked with garlice, red pepper and Thai sauce.
Thai beer is cold enough and should be a must to order in Thai restaurant.

Shau
Shau Shau is a Thai restaurant in Jordan (an old and to be
re-developed district), it is not easy to relate to be an eatery of
authentic Thai food. It is a typical local restaurant style with packed
dining environment. If you are
too fat (yes, fat), I am afraid you are not welcome by the restaurant
layout. It is also not welcome for a group of more than six diners. If
you do not mind dining alfresco (on the pavement), a group of ten diners is still ok.
Though
it is a Thai restaurant, there are not too many options in the menu. I
expect there should be more varieties. We order grilled fish, tom yum,
salad, vegetable, curry and fried rice vermicelli. Average spending is
about one hundred fifty .
In view of food assortment, it should not be expensive. For the food
taste, it should be quite outstanding. It is even higher than those Thai
chained restaurants and those Thai restaurants in Kowloon City . They
prepare food with patience and heart. This and
their cooking skill are very much appreciated. Except that the shrimps
in tom yum are not freshly fresh and the green curry is a bit too
sticky, we do not have any complaint on other dishes. Or, in other
words, we appreciate all others very much. We are delighted to have a dinner of delicious authentic Thai food tonight.
