It is better to visit Mido Cafe at night. When the neon signage is on, it is a fantastic moment for photo-taking.

From the second floor, there is such a view of hawkers in the street.

Decorations on the top of staircase to the second floor.

Posters on the wall.

The interior should have not yet changed for more than 30 years, I guess. There are not too many diners at night.

The old cashier machine on the second floor. It should be for decoration only. It is an antique too.

The signage at the main entrance.

The
building at which Mido Cafe locates is still in good condition. It is
really hoped that this fantastic cafe and building can be maintained and
protected forever.

Almond milk and coffee

Zero is also available.

Toast with butter & jam

Remarks:
1) Mido Café has about 60 years history.
2)
We do want to visit Mido Cafe for a very very long time. We do not
anticipate that we would visit at night. It should be a much better time
for photo-taking of this cafe museum.
Basically there is no need
to introduce Mido Café further, it is a very renowned icon of Hong Kong
style café in Kowloon. To visit Mido, our main purpose is not for food,
it should also be the purpose for most of other diners. It is like a
live museum. To pay for food should be the ticket fee of visiting a
museum.
We do not expect to order any food before, but we still
order toast and three drinks. It is quite difficult to prepare
distasteful toast, the rating of food is therefore 3.5/5. If time
allows, we would like to visit Mido again, maybe in the afternoon tea
time.
