Fried
River Shrimps in Soy Sauce is a signature dish in He Yuan. River
shrimps are not easy to collect in winter. This is the best size, please
do not expect larger size, which may be fake. This shrimp is very flesh
and a bit spicy.
The best available flavour and taste are highlighted. You should also
order this river shrimp in He Yuan. FYI, this shrimp is collected from
Wan Lu Lake, which is the largest lake in He Yuan, water quality and
hygiene are very high too .

It is very large in portion. More than 50% has been eaten before this
photo is taken. It is fried with bean sprout, green onion and vegetable.
It is simple but delicious.

Fish meat is tender and natural.This fish is quite bony, please be
careful. But fish meat is more delicious if it is bony. Btw, we are
lucky to always try fresh river fish in He Yuan.

This
is in fact a supper. Yes, it is a supper. But it seems to be a dinner
in terms of the number of dishes and portion. Maybe, because we are in a
leisure trip, we are out of control to place order. Strictly speaking, the portion is only a bit more.
We
intentionally try the signature river shrimp and fish in Heyuan.
Shrimps are not large in size as those from the sea. Since they live in a
large reservoir of good water quality, this shrimp is therefore very
famous amongst the locals. To be visitors, we
found no reason not to have a try. We also need to try the river fish,
they are of course cheaper comparatively and should be of high quality.
It proves to be so later. The fried noodle is also cooked to perfection,
though it is a low-priced item. This must be the result of sophisticated cooking
skill. Anyway, this restaurant gives us a very good impression tonight.
