Marinated Stuffs Platter is comparatively large in size. Of course,
this does not imply that the price is very reasonable. Superficially, we
can see goose intestine, goose meat, and goose liver.
Besides, we can also find marinated tofu at the bottom. Frankly
speaking, this marinated dish is not outstanding. At most, its quailty
is average only.
Braised
Grass Carp Claypot is a dish of high level tonight. Grass carp is very
fresh and the meat is bouncy as a result. It immediately enhances our
appetite to this claypot. Besides, we can find fried tofu, fried garlic
and red bell pepper. Strictly speaking, if the fish has no mud flavor, it would be a moreish dish.
Baby Oyster Congee is like a baby oyster soup. It is very strange that
there is only a handful of rice at the bottom. But taste is alright. It
gives us a cheating feeling.

Remarks: It is a record to prove that restaurant of long history and
always being appraised by the media and/or celebrities may not also give
us a memory and delicious dining experience.
We
have not dined in Sheung Hing for a long time, mainly because we do not
like the poor manner of those uncle waiters. This time we are allotted
to a table not in the main shop but in auxiliary dining area. It is
strange that the service here is quite good, out of our expectation.
We
order three dishes only, namely oyster congee, braised fish claypot and
marinated goose platter. The braised fish claypot is of very high
quality, in view of food materials and taste. But the rest two items are
very average. After this dinner, we should visit other Chiu Chow restaurants more. We expect pricing in
other chiu chow restaurants should be lower and dish quality should be
higher, resulting that the utility of a meal is correspondingly higher.
