Roasted goose is of course the signature item in Tin Hung Restaurant.
Besides, it also serves chicken, roasted pork and cha siu (BBQ pork).
Today
soup and other items are claimed to have added no msg. This is proved
to be correct and true. Since no msg is added, this soup is not very
tasty and the taste is light. It is anyway very natural in taste and
would not be
very delicious. We have a quite strange experience about the today soup
in some other eateries. There are basically not many food materials
(vegetables, meat or bone) in the soup of those eateries, but their soup
is magically delicious. It is quite ridiculous.
We order rice, noodle and soup. The portion is quite generous, it is definitely sufficient for a normal adult.
We
are too lucky that both ordered items are served with goose thigh.
Since no msg has been added, the taste must not be impeccable. It is
also not too salty. We are pleased and a bit surprised that the roasted
goose is made by fresh goose. The texture is very naturally bouncy and juicy.
Sauce has been added at the bottom already. Though the sauce amount is
not too much, it is at any rate tasty and sufficient to finish the
whole bowl of rice. Several pieces of green vegetable are available to
make a balance of diet.
Once again, fresh goose instead of chilled goose is used in Tin Hung
Restaurant. We are delighted they have the heart and insist on serving
fresh goose to the best available quality. A credit should be given to
them.

When
we are informed there is high quality roasted goose in Yuen Long, we
really would like to eat immediately. Today we are pleased to have a
chance to visit Yuen Long, we of course would grasp this chance to have a
try of roasted goose. We are not sure whether the intelligence is reliable, we at any rate have to take risk.
Tin
Hung is not a large eatery but a local one without artistic and
splendid decoration. Seating is not too comfortable and accommodating.
Table is small, but air-con and TV are available. Frankly speaking, we
do have a bit expectation on roasted goose .
We therefore order roasted goose only, we have not ordered any chicken,
roasted pork or cha siu. Without our disappointment, the roasted goose
is of quality, or in fact has attained a level beyond our expectation
beforehand. Goose is fresh and has carefully seasoned, goose meat is fresh and bouncy naturally and juicy. Without
dipping any sweet & sour plum sauce, it is already very good in
taste and we can savor the original flavour and taste. If you are lover
of roasted goose or would like to try roasted goose of exorbitantly high quality, you should give it a try.
