It
is an unhealthy meal. We have not eaten roasted pork (燒肉) for a while.
It is needed to pay more to try the signature roasted pork in Wing Hap
Lung again. The skin is in alluring brown colour. It is of course very crispy. After this meal and to make a balance, we have to punish ourselves by eating several vegetarian meals.
This is the medium standard size, priced at HK$100.
The best quality portion (i.e. brisket) of a pig is served to us. Less
salt is used to marinate nowadays, for health sake and to suit the
market request.
Cha Siu (BBQ Pork) is also in good condition, it is really unexpected.
It is served with plain rice of good condition. The portion of cha siu is quite generous.

We suddenly would like to eat roasted pork again today. The target
in Kowloon should be Wing Hap Lung in Prince Edward. We are pleased
today is not any Chinese festivals, no queue is found in the shop.
Besides
roasted pork, we also order cha siu (bbq pork). We are lucky that for
cha siu a nice portion is allotted to us. It is not lean and not tough,
it is in fact quite juicy and tender. No meat tenderizer has been
added. Roasted pork is still served in high quality, and freshly
roasted. Less salt has been used to marinate the pork. It is more
environmentally conscious and better to health. We are pleased roasted
pork can still be maintained in high standard in Wing Hap Lung. This is the result of devotion and persistence. Keep it up!
