Fried Ricesheet Roll (炸兩)
Yes, we have ordered two plates of Fried Ricesheet Roll. All fried
ricesheet rolls are freshly prepared and therefore are still hot when
served. The fried ricesheet roll are delicious.
There are two sizes, this is the small size. For the large one, it is $2 higher in price.
Plain
Rice Congee (白粥) has no taste. This is much appreicated. This means
some eateries must have served plain rice congee with msg taste, this is
exceptionally horrible. The congee has been boiled for several hours.
If not, the congee texture and appearance would not be like this.
Congee of Pig Liver and Fish Meat (豬肝魚片粥)
Liver and fish meat are both fresh.
The shop is full and can serve about 25 patrons at the same time.
It is a bit congested. It is not possible to think of an eatery in such a packed situation in Sai Kung in the morning.
The shop should be renovated recently, it gives us such impression. But we have not dined here before.
Fried Ricesheet Roll is prepared at the front of the shop. It is like a demonstration to patrons. You should not miss this too.

Business
hours of Kam Shan Congee are in the morning only. It is therefore
difficult to arrange a patron even though we have hiked regularly in Sai
Kung before. Because of a late hike today, we can have a chance to try
in Kam Shan. It is
an eatery of normal size (for the standard in Hong Kong). But the
eatery is full today. There are also many people waiting in the front
of the eatery for sitting and takeaway. There are only six servers
altogethers, it is not easy to ease the traffic in such a “normal size” eatery in a short time. I guess half of the patrons are not residents in Sai Kung.
We
order two bowls of congee and two plates of fried ricesheet roll. Yes,
we order two plates of fried ricesheet roll, mainly because it is
freshly fried and rolled. The portion is not small, there are also large
and small sizes. It is a nice try in Sai Kung in general and in Kam Shan in particular.
