Steamed Crab w/ Egg White & Yellow Wine is ordered as there are not too many options in the menu, imho.
There
is quite a lot of egg white in the plate, though the crab is not large
enough. Egg white has not yet been over-steamed. This is a very tasty
dish and is suggested to order.
Fried Spareribs in Strawberry
Sauce is a high quality dish as fresh pork and no meat tenderizer have
been used. Pork is juicy and naturally bouncy. This is a dish we
appreciate very much.
Signature Fried Kamei Chicken w/ Black
Pepper (half bird) is nicely presented in golden colour. We can sense
the enticing smell too when it is served. It takes half an hour for the
preparation.
Each piece of chicken is a result of cooking fresh
chicken, spring onion and black pepper. It is therefore a bit spicy.
Though it is claimed to be Kamei Chicken, the meat texture is still not
good enough. There is still a distance from those chicken meat in the
mainland. This is anyway a quality and delectable chicken.
Vegetable in Soup
We have not ordered any dessert, these (left: Green Bean Paste, right: Walnut Sweet Paste) are served to us later at free.

We
expect there should be more patrons at night, but it is not. If Lee
House is full house, it should be quite noisy. We are allotted to a
table with no patrons next to us. It is a nice dining environment
tonight. Lee House Restaurant seems to be a speakeasy, in the sense that
it is nicely decorated. It is quite like those Chinese restaurants in
prestigious hotels. Servers are professional and trained. But they are a
bit overdone. In other words, they are too hospitable. This is the
service manner we do not want to experience.
Dishes on the other
hand are quite pleasing. Chefs are quite professional to cook and
present each dish, particularly when there are not too many patrons.
They should also know fully the properties of seasoning and food
material. This is a nice and enjoyable meal. No meat tenderizer and not
much msg, if any, have been added to food. A demerit is that there are
not too many selections in the menu.
