To
try healthy home-feel Chinese food, Home-Feel should be one of the best
choices in Hong Kong. Homemade Chinese soup without MSG is available as
well.
Home-Feel is a restaurant opened in 2000. As implied by
the name, the owner would like to provide a home feel to diners.
Besides, its aim is to prepare foods with minimum amount of oil and
salt, and no MSG. In 2007, it has opened its third restaurant in Tsim
Sha Tsui East. It is the one we suddenly meet today.
We have made
no booking and are luckily allotted to a table with street view.
Scrutinizing the menu, the dishes are of price from $40 to $70. There
are also several kinds of Chinese homemade soups. We order 2 soups and 3
dishes. The bill is $180 (average per head $90). Overall speaking, food
taste is not too delicious, mainly because no MSG has been added (I
believe no MSG has been added). We need to make a trade-off between
health and delicacy.
In dinnertime, the restaurant is full. It is
not an expected phenomenon in Tsim Sha Tsui East. After dinner, there
is free herbal Chrysanthemum tea. Home-Feel is a Chinese Restaurant we
suggest to try.
